Dealer not too far from me has a 2021 XLT listed for a tad under $60k. Add in the $995 dealer fee and $2695 mandatory add on dealer package it's going to be mid to high $60's OTD. Here it is.
WOW!! The window sticker MSRP is $41,520. The dealer is really proud of that XLT. Of course they are offering $500 off as "Savings".

What's the add ONS for the black widow ranger? Today when I was dropping my son off at school I saw a white one just like mine. Was the first black widow ranger I had seen. Like the stance and flares, but knowing how much they jack up the price on the F-150 black widows I'm sure it's way out of anything I want to pay.

But don't the F-150 black widows have a bunch of performance upgrades?

$55,930 USD is actually disturbingly close (direct comparison at current rates) to our Wildtrak's RRP on road. The Raptor X (current, not new '22 model) is still a bit more expensive here. We get shafted.

one of the worst things about dealer modified vehicles

the take offs go somewhere, but i'm sure the value doesnt come off the price....so essentially when you buy one of these, you've bought all the add ons in addition to paying for the full as delivered vehicle.
They turn around (or use it in their body shops) and sell the wheels, tires, bumpers etc for even more coin at full price.
My truck was built by RMT. I got credit for the parts removed (not full value, i'm sure), AND I had the option of having all the parts sent to me, if I paid shipping to get them to me.

Not sure I'd view it that way. I know plenty of people with money to wipe their ass with who still buy smart.

Lets call a spade a spade; the Roush package is a $13,000+ prestige appearance package. They don't include their own cold air intake and I believe the exhaust is a re-branded Borla. Let us be clear, there is nothing performance in context of price tag. Someone could order and still pay someone else to install $13,000 worth of product that would make a Roush Ranger look like a piece of crap. It is already established $500 into a tuner already out performs a $13,000+ packaged truck.

However at the end of the day; their wallet, their money. That doesn't mean people can't have an opinion though...
? ouch…

To be fair, we've seen people post stock Lariat Tremors here that were listed at or near that price so this isn't that far out of line on what some dealers are asking. End of day, if there's a buyer, it was priced correctly for the market it's in. I wouldn't personally pay that (I still have sour grapes about not knowing about Granger before I bought mine)..

There is also Roush's version of Ford's Performance tune, even though it is not on the list.

It depends on what you want in a truck vs. the cost to get it. If you're like me, straight-line performance was one of the goals. I didn't pay the kind of money Roush demands. However, if I added what I did pay for what's under the hood, to the OEM sticker, I've spent about half of that $13k.

Performance is also the reason I opted for a 4X2, with no big knobby tires or fancy rims, or bolted on goodies. I got what I wanted, but there is another price to pay for performance—tire wear. On my second set at just over 11,000 miles.

Yeah, I probably should have added that's a record for what I've seen here in the Phoenix area. I'm sure other areas of the country can be higher. So far, though, I guess I had seen most dealers here in Phoenix being at least somewhat reasonable. Still higher than they should, but not like this yet. It's disappointing to see some dealers around here starting to gouge.
