I loved my 2019 lariat fx4. BUT the 2025 RR is a whole different game. I say I had reliabilty issues with 2019 but the bottom line is I have wanted one since they came out and once I drove one it was over!I would absolutely LOVE a new RR, but given my 2019 Lariat is all paid for and does everything I need it to, I can't justify spending another 40 grand (20k ish trade in and 60+k purchase) on one. They look amazing though!
I don't even want to go test drive one since it will make me even more tempted to buy one......
Congrats to those who've bought one - I'm sure I would love it, but...... I'm too cheap to do it.Maybe if I win the lottery or something.
I guess for me that is part of it too - besides the money, my truck has been trouble free thus far. I'm kind of expecting to have to shell out for a new transmission at some point but that still puts me ahead of things - and I know what I have so there is that.I loved my 2019 lariat fx4. ThanksVery nice Langley.
I spent nearly 5k on mods to my 2019 because of hereThanks
they always say in here this forum is great for getting you to spend your money!
I thought the same thing 2 years ago. Hopefully I have this truck 10 years but if not RR have great resale value. I paid 38k for my 2019 lariat 5k in mods and traded it for 25k. So 18k to drive a really nice trucks 7 years is not the worst financial loss . I plan on retiring in 18 months and my RR will be paid off before then. But if you ever in NOVA hit me up I''ll take you for a spin. [ That go the same for you Scorpian.)I guess for me that is part of it too - besides the money, my truck has been trouble free thus far. I know I'd love a RR but unless I win the lottery I just can't justify it. I will have to live vicariously thru you guys.
interest rates do hurt.... even with good credit and healthy down payment the Interest would be 7-8k aloneI can get A plan if they take it on raptors....I'm in a bronco now an I owe about 20 on it so I don't know LOL. I think the interest rates are hurting too
I was offered under 4% by Ford on my recent purchase, but got 0% as I paid with my trade in and cash. There are some better deals on interest rates now than the last few years.interest rates do hurt.... even with good credit and healthy down payment the Interest would be 7-8k alone![]()
Can't wait to see your post tune, pros and cons review.Pro Cal tune gets installed next Wednesday. I will post a 1000 mile review with pros and cons for the 2025 RR. There are some things I already miss from my 2019 There is a bit of learning curve with RR because it has so much tech and different settings.
First truck I ever bought with no intention of towing. Of course it has advanced cameras, trailer backup assist, factory brake controller and a plethora of other trailering tech goodness that I will never bother to learn.Thank goodness the tow rating is lower on the Raptor otherwise it would be $$$$

Only thing I ever towed is my rather large utility trailer.First truck I ever bought with no intention of towing. Of course it has advanced cameras, trailer backup assist, factory brake controller and a plethora of other trailering tech goodness that I will never bother to learn.
I had 55000 reasons not to buy a RR until I tried the first one. I drove it![]()
I’m at a crossroads regarding the Raptor. We tow a 6000lb camper that the wife loves. We could downsize to a smaller camper that the Raptor could handle. But that’s not going to happen whilst I’m still happily married.First truck I ever bought with no intention of towing. Of course it has advanced cameras, trailer backup assist, factory brake controller and a plethora of other trailering tech goodness that I will never bother to learn.
