Hi everyone! My name is Doug. My Saber SuperCrew XLT FX4 is due 4/3. Really looking forward to my new truck. My wife got the last new truck - 2013 F-150 XLT. I love my '96 and have been waiting patiently for the return of the Ranger. Love all the info on this site. Plenty of ideas to implement!

What's up everyone Jason here from sunny San Diego, CA. Just got my Ranger sort of, my wife got it for me in Tennessee (there is no sales tax for active duty military). Won't be all mine until the end of May. Until then I have visitation rights once a month when I fly home. Shes a Lariat FX4, Sport Package. Can't wait to start upgrading!

Happy to be in a Ranger again, formerly owning a 08 Ranger FX4 in the past. Looking forward to seeing how everyone builds their rigs! Cheers!

Hey everyone, new member here. Short story.
I bought a brand new aluminum 2.7 ecoboost F150 back in Feb 2015, one of the firs to go on sale. Love the truck overall but was way too big for my lifestyle and my wife refused to drive it. October of that year I traded it in for a 2014 Golf TDI. I then sold that VW back to VW for 21k in March of 2016. With that cash I bought a 2017 Tacoma SR for 30,500. I proceeded to install an ARB locker, Stock size tires, ICON suspension kit and various other bits. No matter what I did I couldn't make myself like the truck. Sure It was good offroad and in MOAB but everyday driving was terrible. It was slow and bumpy, I sat on the floor and it killed my back, it didn't have Apple CarPlay. I traded that in at Audi Colorado Springs for 32,000 trade in value and got a 2016 Grand Cherokee Overland. I love that Jeep except it doesn't have CarPlay.

Come this month and we're expecting our first kid. I gave my wife the Jeep and decided to get the Ranger. I got a Lariat Fx4. Love the safety tech, power, and comfort. I paid 41,500 out the door with spray in liner and tint included. I did have 2500 in taxes on top of that but I don't count that. I love the truck. 750 miles on it and averaging 22mpg with tons of power on tap. Mod plans are 5star tune, GFB diverter, and a good oil catch can when available. That's about it, it doesn't need anything else. I really wish Toyota would get a solid engine with power, a better transmission/map and add Carplay and maybe I would recommend it again, but in my mind it just doesn't compete as a daily pavement pounder.

Welcome!

There seems to be a familiar theme here among former Tacoma owners,

I just thought I'd introduce myself here. I have a '19 Ranger SuperCrew XLT 302A FX4 in Magnetic with a Medium Stone interior on order. It was actually a dealer stock order that they made some adjustments on for me. I had the tech package removed, changed interior from ebony to medium stone, added rubber floor liners and block heater. It also has a tow package. Anyhow it was built the very end of February and now shows "In transit" so hopefully by April 1st it'll make an appearance.

I currently lease a '16 F150 4x4 SuperCab and for where I live in a mountain town up in the Black Hills of South Dakota it's a TOTAL pain to park and navigate around the narrow streets. It's also not that great on the narrow fire trails and service roads up in the forest. I don't drive that many miles so leases work well for me. This is the first time I've ever had the chance to get an order adjusted to get just what I want within budget. My budget on the MSRP was $40k and my truck came in at $40,115. Of course I will use an X plan pin and I qualify for $500 rebate since I'm retired military. Anyhow I'm excited!
Good luck... ordered my 2019 Ranger XLT 4x2 25 October, got VIN showing build date of 11 February with delivery 24 February. It's now 28 March n still nothing. Daily check of Ford Order Tracking by VIN last 10 days (since 19 March) was estimated delivery 14, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31 and now 34 days. Getting farther away than closer to getting here. The listed issue...parts shortage...yet dealers are getting inventory stock daily. Not a happy camper.

you need to put a - sign in front of the number, it is just the number of days from the est delivery. It adds to it every day. Mine was built 2/7 and after about 20 days past my 2/17 delivery it changed to N/A. Still in production. Also in Illinois,

I don't think I'll see it by April 1st, but it is on the train heading my way so hopefully I'll get it in a couple weeks.

I’m in middle TN and picked up my Ranger on Monday. This is my return to trucks after trading my 04’ F-150 XLT 5.4L. This is my treat to me after retiring from Beretta last May. I highly recommend retirement to everyone! We live out in the country on 7+AC. Ranger will get good use as a dailey driver and a ranch truck. 4X4 is needed here since our property is anything but flat!

Hi all,

Ordered a XLT 4x4 crew cab and patiently awaiting its arrival. (Wife and I both had our "must haves" that no in stock build was able align with.) We are expecting delivery later this spring/early summer.

Note: Fritts Ford Riverside California absolutely willing to accommodate a special order with no pressure whatsoever to push us onto in stock inventory.
