Drove six hours each way on this holiday weekend to pick up a '19 XTL in Orlando.

Equipped exactly as I wanted it. I move motorcycles frequently and am looking forward to not having to tow a trailer all the time.

My '01 Aztek has been a real trooper but its age is starting to make me a bit nervous. Only things replaced in 21 years of ownership were the starter motor and the upper manifold gasket (a common enough issue with this motor that GM lost a class action lawsuit over it. Lawyers got millions, I got a $300 off the repair coupon :)

Probably not a monster deal but given the current environment I am feeling happy about it: It's in like new condition, 19k miles, has the spray in bed liner, tow package, running boards, all the electronic aids and actual keys (no @&#! push button start). Exactly $28k out the door.

Looking forward to hanging out here.

I just joined the Ford Ranger club today. I took deliver of this 2021 Ranger XLT with the 302A, tow, Sport appearance packages and Ford hard rolling Tonneau cover.

I haven't had a pickup since 1987 when I had a Nissan SE King Cab 4x4.

I never paid extra for a color but the Rapid Red just called to me. I figured I've been saving all my life that it was time to treat myself.

With the crappy Long Island and in general all of NY roads that FX4 off road package is probably going to be used daily, especially in the winter.

Right now, I am still figuring all the bells and whistles out and at the same time devouring all the tech stuff I can find on the EcoBoost 2.3L engine and the 10 speed transmission. I've always needed to know how my vehicles ticked inside and out.

I already ordered my first (and probably last) mod, the DeeZee tailgate dampener. I may opt later for replacing the halogens with LEDs but after reading that thread I am wondering if it make sense for me since most places are lit up well at night here. Maybe a country drive will convince me otherwise.

Welcome to the forum and nice ride you got there. Hang around here long enough and something will all of a sudden will be a necessary mod. I keep telling myself the skin flint Yankee I really don’t need that and all of a sudden my account drops. I really did need that! ?

New member checking in from west central Ohio. First Ranger, but my fourth Ford truck. Downsized from F150's but have no regrets. It's been a fun driver. Going in soon for a leveling kit, wheels and tires.

New here, bought a 2021 Lariat in Carbonized Gray a month ago. ordered a tailgate damper before I even bought the truck! installed the unit from Autostop Eliminator after reading all the posts on options to get around that feature. went with Autostop because now it works like I wish it did from Ford. my decision to turn it on or off and it just stays where I put it.

This forum is a wealth of knowledge, however I am jonesing for a lot of the "mod's" by others now and seem to place orders at odd hours for things I probably dont need but cant live without.

had a new in 1991 F-250HD two wheel drive, really a one wheel drive. got stuck a lot in that truck. and an '85 Ranger sometime in the late 90's I used as a beater. I loved that Ranger. So very excited to be back in a Ranger.

Bob
Welcome, saw a few of your other posts and we are in similar camps with the 18' wheels, I haven't changed much to my tire setup so I won't be able to help ya too much there but there is a few good thread posts to check out regarding tire setups. A little bit less on the 18 side of things but there's a little... Nice you got the Autostop eliminator, the tech package actually comes with one installed near the traction control on/off but it's an awful more of an add on than most Ranger's on the lot have.

Enjoy the rabbit hole of mods, I probably am on here for a couple hours a day, more than I would like to admit... But I keep learning from new posts and I keep finding old threads to learn from. The search function is nice but sometimes I like to google my topic with ranger5g attached afterwards and it finds posts better imo. For instance, "fox 2.0 install ranger5g". Enjoy the nice truck and think about installing a tune :giggle:

Howdy ❤ Ranger Lovers ❤

Just wanted to say hi, and share the fact that I’ve had my Tremor for a month now...
And I absolutely love it.

Every time I sit at the wheel, I think to myself “I love this truck ? ”.

I regularly play the “Ford fuckn Ranger” song while driving.
I even created a Siri Shortcut that responds to “Hey Siri, start my truck”, which starts that beauty and plays a short sample of the song on my watch.
I think I’ve even started to develop a hillbilly southern accent…

It's also a blast to have become part of this community.

I love this truck.
It’s tragic.
Haha you're funny. Welcome fellow CA member.

So who do I have to bribe to get a Hawaii section on the Local Page??;)
Any chance on this? Not from Hawaii but it would be cool for them to have a section for them!

2021 Ranger Supercab
Hello everyone, finally made my own profile after a few months of reading through some of the threads here. I have been driving my 02' FX4 for almost 8 years now and at the beginning of April I ordered my new iconic silver 2021 Ranger FX4. I'm hoping for a status update from the dealership in a few weeks, I'm thinking it won't be here until September or October at the earliest but with the current chip shortage its all up in the air. Have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone
Literally what I ordered as well. Supercrew or supercab? I'm looking to get the fox 2.0 at least.
