Picked up a new Iconic Silver XLT ranger 2 months ago and its been fantastic. I've been driving Mazda 3s for the last 14 years and couldn't be happier leaving the economy cars behind for this truck. So far I've installed Bilstein 5100s on the front and have accessorized some: rubber mats, drop in bed liner, bed cover, shorty antennae etc. Next purchase will probably be wheels and tires once I find something I like

Hi Nathaniel,

I think you will find threads here are a mixed bag of good and bad. Some are due to Mods gone wrong or gone right. Many are OEM related, again good and bad. And then there are the Taco Trolls trying to stir up things because the Ranger kicks butt and they can't stand that fact....

Looks like your mods are modest, but keep a eye on your wallet...wallets are known to go crazy on Ranger goodies when your back is turned.

Hope you have many smiles per mile with your new truck!

Best,
Phil

I don't plan on doing too much past wheels and tires on the ranger, its my daily driver and I don't want to do anything to compromise drivability and reliability, I've made that mistake before. I have a 78 f100 project truck to make fun and unreliable

I'm actually not sure of the brand, my dad surprised me with one. I think he just found the most affordable trifold on amazon
