Got a heck of a deal on some tires I've never heard of. Did some research they have great reviews by some trusted websites.

Got 265/70R17. Ride home was fine but they were way over filled. I have 1.5 spacers and on full lock the over filled tire rubbed the crash bar. I went from 44psi down to 38. I'll see if they rub tomorrow with the lower psi.

Drove 2 hours to get these off a guy that does tires as a side hustle. Price was 560 out the door mounted and balanced.

I can definitely hear them more than the OEM but that's expected with the tread.

I'll post the guys info in a bit

And post in a year how they are unless I have issues soon..lol

Never heard of them either. Do be careful as I did a look. Chances are these were most likely made in China....... I would steer clear of anything made in China especially when it's a safety item like Tires.

Chinese tires ”off of a guy”. What could go wrong? Oh, and you’re rubbing because of your spacers, not the air pressure.

Only one side rubbed and that tire was at 50 psi. So you see how I could have made the assumption it was tire pressure..

As far as off a guy he is a dealer.. just small time. It's not like I went to a crack house and got tires mounted and balanced on my rims.

Also yes Chinese company. Tires made in Cambodia.

But your probably right Chinese brand tires made in Cambodia probably are not as good as an American tire company who's tires are made over seas.

Les schwab sells this brand as well. I needed some cheap load e tires for a truck once and these worked great for the work they did. No issues with them.

Believe it or not those actually have a bit of reputation over here for being fairly tough tyres which perform well off road.
I've bought Chinese tyres before and they were OK but I did stick to one of the bigger and more well known Chinese brands that's been around here for a while. They performed quite well, my only gripe being they did tend to wear out a bit faster than maybe I was used to, but they were also considerably cheaper, I would have bought them again last year but by then the dealer had inflated ideas of how good he thought they were, and I actually got a better deal on Yokohomas. So why wouldn't you?

It's been a great budget friendly tire for my old hunting truck. So far has even out performed the Toyo AT3 on my 22 Ranger for 'off road use'. Might be because of the larger tread lugs and softer rubber compound. Durable so far and not a rock chucker, quiet on pavement but probably won't last as long. Reviews are very good for the tire and the manufacturer.

For myself, I have no issue with value tires on MY vehicle.

My wife's vehicle will get the good stuff.

I have a friend who owns a tire shop and I was recently talking with him about a new set for my Jeep.

He initially mentions Nitto, Michelin, etc. and I reminded him that whatever tire I got would likely dry rot before it wore out so long tread life was a non-issue.

Him: How much do you drive?

Me: I only drive the Jeep around locally so 2k per year?

Him: Are you sure about that?

Me: Well, I drive my Ranger a LOT, and it has 30k miles after 5 years.

Him: Oh.

So the Jeep will likely get Milestar Patagonias. I had them on my Grand Cherokee and really liked them.
