New bronco with 35s from factory…. No crash bars

Anyway I though this was interesting… it had 35s from the factory…. And deleted crash bars.

i think that’s just the removable fender.

I just thought it was funny that with all the debate over crash bars, Fords answer for bigger tires is to delete the bars.

It's nothing new, Ford has been doing this for years with the Raptor.

Must just depend on which trims get crash tested.

The only reason Ford includes them on so many vehicles in the first place is because IIHS called them out in 2015 for only including them on the models they knew would be tested in the small overlap frontal collision. If it were up to them they would probably leave them off of most models to save the money.
