New bluetooth connection problems.

About the same time I got my new Sonim XP8 phone my Ranger started having sporadic automatic bluetooth connection problems.

I know its not the phone, because other cars I use it in, it connects properly every time.

Now in my Ranger 9 out of 10 times it sees my phone, but refuses to connect to it till I disable and re-enable the bluetooth on my phone. Anyone else encountered this problem?

I’d bet that it is the phone. I went through 5 Sonim XP8’s and they were all crappy. Worst phone I ever had.

I rock a sonim XP8 and had a 7 for work and had no issues with Bluetooth. Just call quality

only thing good about the xp8 is battery life. Everything else sucks. Not even Class 1 Div 1...

Dont get me started. I'm outside my return window on it. Actually started off decent, but its been nothing but glitchy recently. My chief bought one after he tried mine out when I first got it and he is ditching his too, but he has money like that. I need to pay off the balance before switching out back to an iPhone.

Work also gave me an iPhone and I hate it too lol. But I’m stubborn. Only thing good about the iPhone is the $1200 class1 div1 case you can get for it...

This was my first Android phone and to be honest, I find iOS while limiting, to be way smoother and user friendly than Anroid.

But again maybe the Sonim being my first Android phone is not a good first impression for me on that OS.

There is Always (at least Often) some glitch to deal with pairing one computer to another. Sync 3 turns down my iphone XS volume Every single pairing and doesn’t turn it back up. No fix I can find at all.
