so it looks like have changed its design on the ranger since that one looks to be for the bronco and it looks a tad better now so i guess i dont hate itAny one see these yet? They make a 2.3 for the Ranger. I can't decide how I feel about it. I like choices but I'm still holding out for something new from Ford.
JCR Offroad Engine Cover $149 (Sale Price)
- looks cool (at least better than bare, imo)
- should last a long time
- free shipping
- does nothing for sound deadening
- reminds me of the muffler shroud on a lawn mower
- still feels like it's missing something

i mean its probably just as useful as the oem one tbh..I guess. I just wish it was useful. I'm not pulling the trigger on it for looks alone. Put a lip around that hole in the top at least.
Yep, buy it for me Rhino and I'll use it.i mean its probably just as useful as the oem one tbh..

Damn it “banned” Progeny2021, now I gotta do dat…. ?I drilled a couple of holes in mine to mount the emblem - used gorilla glue. Wondering if this will have an effect on longevity?

The "dreaded drip through" give me a break! Ive had mine for 3 years now, never has it seen the inside of a garage. It's been rained on, snow and hail countless times. Never once have I had an issue, nor the vast majority of users. Was going to ask the forums if anybody knew of an aftermarket cover. I'd like to get mine covered so that I don't get a rust problem, and I'm disappointed that the ford one was discontinued before their 'new design' is made available. But then I guess the original ford cover doesn't really prevent the issue in the TSB?
Anyway this aftermarket one looks like crap, doesn't look like it would fix the dripping problem either.
Seems like there is a market for one that prevents the dreaded cylinder-4-drip though.
