Very brave to announce the switch to a Silverado on a Ford forum. As the sponsor of a Ford forum, we can't "officially" endorse your switch, but that blue Z71 does look nice in your driveway.
These are a good group of guys and gals. I know they can take it.

My Ranger is available on the Chevy dealer site if anyone wants to buy it!

What? Buy a vehicle that is possessed and converts good people to the Dark Side?

Thanks to everyone for making the forum great.

I love my Ranger, and it’s been a blast, but it just wasn’t the right fit for my family size - currently 3 young kids with boosters and car seats. I had made it work but decided to move up to something larger.

This was my first truck, and I did test drive full-size trucks too back when buying the Ranger, but it just seemed like too much at the time. The Ranger is a great truck, but it’s tight for a family greater than 4.

The painful part of this change will be the gas mileage!

I know you bought a chevy, but the Ranger gets worse mileage than the F-150 in either the 2.7 or the 3.5, I owned both. The 2.7 got 20.5 mpg, the 3.5 got 19.5, and my 2023 Ranger gets 18.5. YMMV

You're right, it's always a good vibe on this forum. Hope your ranger sells for a great price (and if you want to try a different way to sell, we can help!)

I do have a Lariat black appearance grille and raptor lights for it which I’ll post for local sale after Easter as well as a few other goodies. I forgot to uninstall my engine cover! Doh!!

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
anticipated more love/hate for the color than for it being a Chevy!
Really?

Can't Go wrong with blue! :like:

A
s to the chebby part.... well you should get 400K miles out of it. Long as you are hauling it with a Ford. :turkey:

I have had a couple silverado's. Love them. Nice truck! love the color! get a Range device to turn off that damn cylinder deactivation system. I have had several Range devices for GM cars. They work great.

I guess I got lucky. It doesn’t have that due to the chip shortage. All 8 all the time.
