At least the muffler bearings didn't get blown out.

Are they putting olestra in gasoline now?
I Had to look that one up. Given its obsolescence in the US, Ford's supplier, Lowest Bidder Resonator Co, probably bought up all the remaining stock to use as packing.

Looks like one of the tumbe-weaves I see occasionally blowing down 8 mile in Detroit.

Well I just got back from my road trip. Towed my 6k enclosed snowmobile trailer about 800 miles in total including two runs over the coquihalla summit. If that didn’t blow out the muffler hair I don’t know what will. Got the equivalent of 9.4 mpg. Still can’t tell if I love or hate this truck lol.

The packing could be out of the muffler. It has a wrap of it in there

If you’re talking about the Coquihalla Hwy in BC, that’s a helluva drive. I’ve driven it many times but driving it in the winter can often be a white knuckle experience. There were time when it felt like I was on a bob sleigh run. Ran into a snow storm once in August! You’re a brave man Ryan!

I saw a Ranger in the service lot of the Ford dealer at the cottage a few years back with a hairy pony tail hanging out the tailpipe. The service guy said he’d seen a number of different vehicles with the same issue. I guess it happens. ?‍♂

When a guy shows up in a million dollar rotator, you know the recovery bill is going to be HUGE!
