Did anyone install the rok blokz versions?
I put the rokbloxz XL mud flaps on this weekend. Very easy to install. Took maybe 30min. They look good, the rear flaps could be a little longer. They’re stiff but not so stiff the mud and snow will accumulate.

Could you post up some pictures when you get a chance?

Here’s the photo of the rokblokz. Not the best photos. Let me know if there is something specific you want to see on them.

Did you have to drill anything to install? How rigid are they, if you held the flap horizontally would it stay straight or would it flop down like a wet noodle? Not sure what else to compare it to lol

They’re fairly stiff. Not like the rubbery ones you see on tractor trailers. They have enough give that they shouldn’t hold mud or snow.
I didn’t have to drill any holes. The top holes mounted into the holes where the retaining clips for the wheel liners are. They provided a different clip to replace the oem ones with. The bottom hole on the flap mounted into the screw/bolt holes that hold the bottom of the fenders to the body. I can try to take a photo of how they’re mounted tomorrow when it’s light out.

Thanks, I wouldn’t mind seeing one if you have time sometime. I’m probably leaning towards Rally Armors when they come out though, they are made of urethane and extremely flexible even in very cold temperatures.

I could see them getting stiff somewhere really cold. Thankfully it never really gets cold here :). There’s a lot of dirt and gravel roads around me, so I wanted to get something on fast before I threw a rock into one of my panels. I’d rather something more flexible too.

Thanks for the pictures and the follow up! These are currently at the top of my list.

I have Ford's molded mud flaps and they're great for the street but I think in challenging off road conditions, they'd be vulnerable to being crushed. I'd be interested in a very flexible urethane mud flaps such as on Rally cars...

That's exactly what I've mentioned that Rally Armor told me they are working on for the Ranger. They are super flexible!

No they didn’t. I told them I hoped they would have them before winter hits and they said they would do their best to expedite their launch.

Has anyone used the Rally Armor XL Universal flaps yet? I was looking around at a few Colorados and it looks like they will be a great fit for the Ranger as well.

I’ve never used the universal ones, hoping the direct fit ones will be out soon!
