At least its a real one and not the Escape with a boxy body on it and a 3 cyl
I told a guy I ordered a bronco an he asked "which one"? I just glared at him an he's like "oh the big one, sorry to offend you" LOL

Congrats on the Bronco. Please stick around here...
Thanks. When I saw your handle an profile pic I was going to ask if you were a radioman in the navy. I was a Crypto tech on two cruisers an interacted with the RM's all the time.

Nope, Radarman. The dots and dashes were too fast for me.

After the service, I was in RF communications for 57 years. Mostly public safety, public service.

Nice! Congrats.

I’ve been driving a 4DR Black Diamond with the manual transmission for two years. Love it. Wouldn’t trade it for double.

We just got a 2020 Lariat Supercrew for the wife after driving a Transit Connect XLT for 7 years.

There are certainly some features I wish they offered on the Bronco. Might have made me move up a trim level.

I especially appreciate the auto wipers.

This is the first week we got it. It’s a solid duo. Lots of little personal changes already. Waiting on some tires.

I got a great trade in offer on my 2019 XLT 4x4 supercab so I ordered a Bronco. It came in Friday an I picked it up Mon. I have been hauling people a lot more than "stuff" lately so I ordered one. If I had a crew cab I may not have made the move, I don't know how the rear seats compare.

In Dec 2019 I paid $26,100 for the ranger after $6K in rebates an A plan discount. Three years eight months an 45,900 miles later I got $25K for it in trade. I did leave a nice hard tonneau cover on it since I didn't want to deal with it.

There are things I like better about each but the transmission so far seems WAY smoother than the rangers. I guess you have to pay a price to tow 7500 pounds. The only visit to the dealership was for a CEL on a sensor above the gas tank. I think when I had the oil coating rust preventer applied it got on it an caused it to fail. I did get the CEL for the "chugging" issue but I cleared it an it hadn't come back, been about 3 months.

I'll still stop in now an then since this is a cool group an I enjoy reading others
Congrats! My first vehicle was a Bronco II with 3 inch lift and 31's. My dream vehicle is the new bronco, I waited many years in hope they would bringbthem back. I think it would be awesome to travel in. Alas I need a pickup too much and ranger is nice to travel in.

Hope you enjoy your new ride!

I mean, they do make these little things you can connect the the back of the Bronco and out things in.. I think they call them little pull behind vehicle wagons.... ;)

But I get the needing a truck bed...

Yeah but then I'd have to pay taxes on it and run home and get it if I needed to haul something. Build a 3rd garage to house the trailer. Easier to have truck lol

I'm confused as to what the downside in your argument are...

I was thinking about picking up a trailer. I rented one a few times with the ranger because I brought home a couple John Deere garden tractors that weighed about a thousand pounds each an I wasn't too crazy about trying to drive up ramps on them with that high bed. The U haul aluminum ones with the gate that folds down to drive up are nice. One of my friends said I could use his truck if I need one an another buddy owns a moving business with box trucks an cargo vans so I'm covered there. We moved my tool box full of tools when I bought my house an rolling that beast onto a hydraulic liftgate an to move was sweet. My garage has 14' doors so he just backed in an it rolled right out. I just have to plan ahead, no impulse buys unless I can go back to pick it up.

There was a little 5x8 tractor supply trailer for sale for $500 an it looked new by me on Facebook. If I see a deal like that again I'll probably jump on it.
