My 2019 XLT FX4 August build date has the tray. I don't use it for anything. So I'd be willing to sell it for $1,000 because I heard it adds more horse power than a tailgate damper. :p
Does that include shipping?

I now have a case full of cd's that are useless cause the Ranger and wife's Subaru don't use them.
Maybe use em for skeet targets !!!
They also make good coasters for outdoor use, and you can hang them in a vegetable garden to keep the crows at bay.. At our age, the neighbors willl probably (mis)understand.

Can anyone confirm if this tray was omitted from the 2021 models? I was installing my Cup Holder Hero liners and I'm missing the tray circled in the picture. I looked up the Ford part number (21045c22) and it's only showing for the '19-'20 rangers. I don't know if it matters, but mine is a '21 XLT Tremor.

I just found another cut. Fold down rear seat headrests! Now they only go up and down instead of folding down out-of-the-way so you no longer have a blind spot on the rear right view side when looking in your rearview mirror. Get it together Ford!

First song I recall hearing on an 8-track;
Round round get around
I get around
yeah get around round round I get around...
before that we had these.
Found this original footage of them performing it live.

Guitar solo is epic!

I kinda miss JC Whitney, I bought a number of parts from them for my Baja when I was maybe 18.
And if I recall, a "Pseudo Quadrophonic" stereo widget that never made it into a vehicle but upon testing DID do...well...something, to the sound.
There used to be FM Stereo radio adapters that you plugged into the slot on your 8-track, but for us small town dudes, the only FM was the classical stations, and the adapters didn't work all that well, anyway.
The Norelco brand 45rpm record players linked in post #25 actually did work pretty well. My buddy put one in his '57 Mercury Montclair handed down from his folks. It was mounted under the dash and itwould only play one record at a time, so changing records was a pain in traffic, unless there was one or two others along to play disc jockey, which there usually was. I put a Spark-O-Matic reverb and 6"X9" speaker in the rear package shelf and a Cragstan cassette deck under the dash. I used red bulb dye on the dome light; really cool purple ambiance on the blue interior!

Check the URL - in 2010 Carparts.com bought what was left of the JCWhitney brand & folded it into their website & business operations. It's just a name now for a certain range of products on their site, looks like a house brand of front & rear light assemblies and a few off road bumpers.

No more weird, special-yet-questionable purpose or just plain embarrassingly cringe-inducing items. It was a very different era.

I remember all that stuff. In this day and age, looking at it is hilarious !!!
I remember going page to page, ending up with the cheap black ink on my fingers.
Computer keys don't do that !!!

Thankyou.

I thought I was the only one who remembered JC Whitney as a purveyor of garbage.

I grew up building hotrods with my old man. The JC Whitney catalogs in his house were usually read for their comedic effect.

People who actually bought that crap grew up to have babies that turned into ricers.

JC Whitney invented purple window tint. I remember that and the device you could install that electrically prevented rust(!). JCW was the Harbor Freight of aftermarket car parts.

Uggghhhh.

Purple tint.

Spent a whole day removing that crap from a used truck I bought decades ago. That's nasty.
