Mishimoto Catch Can

I installed the catch can on my tremor and just wanted to give a quick note.

The spot mishimoto uses to install their bracket is used for the bracket that holds the fuses/relays for the Aux switches. I opted to remove the factory bracket and just leave the fuse box free floating for now. It's a cheap bracket anyhow.

I did contact Mishimoto to let them know. It would be an easy change to their bracket to allow both to fit.

There was a video I watched that really helped.



Let me know if you still have questions. I will say everything is a VERY tight fit in there.

My quick connect fittings were different than the video shows.

I also contacted mishimoto about the bracket. Slightly modified the existing bracket to make it fit on my Tremor rather than having it flop around though. Elongated the holes in the mishimoto bracket, and cut the screw on the Tremor fuse bracket, and it fit just fine and is secure.

As a Midwest Dad, I made sure to tug on it and say "That's not going anywhere" after torqueing down the bolts.

I dunno about the screw, but the bracket holds the fuse box for the upfitter swiches on the Tremor package.

Yeah it's the screws that I'm about. I've been holding off getting their catch can because of them.

Just cut it, or remove the bracket entirely.
