Anyone got any ideas recently broke down on the motorway in a ranger 2.0 biturbo . The engine starts up but runs rough seems like cylinder one is missing so put a camera down and found droplet like stuff down in the cylinder and on top of the valves unsure what it is some photos and videos any help would be great

Bad fuel or water in fuel?
Can you check for DTC codes?
In the US we don't have the diesel engine in the Ranger, so these are just a guess.

I didn't see the video either. So I'm replying with little info. Liquid in any engine cylinder is normally a sign of a serious problem.
Maybe start with a coolant system pressure test with your camera in the cylinder. A pressure drop indicates a leak somewhere. More liquid in the cylinder is likely a bad head gasket.
....last wild guess: Turbos are cooled with engine coolant. .....maybe another path through the intake valves.
Water/liquid in a cylinder can result in hydro lock and a bent connecting rod. Best to get to the root cause quickly.
