Mice!!

What is it with mice being attracted to my truck? I don't eat in my truck and it's always clean yet I keep having mice issues! I have a "Mouse Blaster" attached to the battery, spray mint spray in truck and have mint sent bags hanging under dash yet I just popped the hood and there is a mouse house directly on top of the battery! Literally 2 inches from the "mouse blaster". A year ago I had mice in the cab building a nest under the shift/center console. Grrrrr!!!! 3 Vehicles park in the driveway yet the Ranger is the only one that has mice problems.

I am not sure if this works better than your current deterrents, but I use Grandpa Gus's spray for mice prevention. I spray around my garage, inside the wheel wells and inside the engine compartment.

I get mice every now and then in the house, I have a small gap under my garage door that they get under. When I still had my cat and a mouse would run by in the kitchen, he'd give me that look like "whataya want me to do about it" and casually walk away lol.

The wire wraps on newer vehicles are made from soy now, instead of petroleum. Mice love it. You can thank the environmentalist retards for this.

Honda makes a wire wrap tape that has capsicum in it. I wrapped as much of the wire harness as I could easily access with it, ziptied cotton balls to it and soak the balls in peppermint extract in it periodically. When I park overnight in the woods by my cabin I also put 4 poison traps by each wheel. I had to repair my wire harness last year and so I'm going all out this year.

it might be the same issue toyota had with the tundra they swapped the wiring looms to soy based so if ford did the same and you live in the country or next to a field it might become a problem
