I installed the Rough Country 3.5" kit on my truck. When I took it in for alignment, the tech called me into the workshop to have a look at an issue and showed me one of the pins had almost completely popped out but was just barely being held in by the lower control arm pushing it at an angle. I had them tap it out so I wouldn't lose it.
They got the alignment near-perfect and stated I was safe to drive.
I just went on my first moderate/difficult off road trail yesterday and wanted to lift the front end up and make sure everything was still torqued to spec.
Everything was still torqued... but i noticed 3 MORE pins missing!
I initially was just going to have my neighbor weld some small square bar stock in place of the holes where the pins go but now that I will need to do multiple, I guess I want to know if this is a common issue and get some guidance for the welds. The only Ford-specific reference I could find is in this thread over at the Bronco forum:

Any input appreciated, many thanks!
