Well at least I got to RIDE in my Ranger today , first time back in it since the "Fall of 2023 " , anyway , not to bad from the passenger seat , brother in law wouldn't step on it though, I'm like " blow this puppy out all the way to the weed store!"
Oh well , at least we got there and back... next time I'll use my peg leg to reach over and hit the go pedal...

Just be careful. Don't get too cocky with that peg leg getup. It'd be real easy to fall if you get too bad ass.... such as washing a truck. Dirt won't kill it your truck. And as to trips with a designated driver.... just enjoy the ride. Beats the heck out of just looking at your truck.

Take a deep breath, move carefully, and follow the doctor's instructions. Let that poor abused ankle heal. Easy for me to say I know. But don't want to see you accidently tweak that bad ankle. Doubt you'd want to experience that either!

By any chance you at Mardi Gras Casino and Resort ? I adopted a racing Greyhound that raced 15 races there, hopefully you didn't bet on her cause her best finish was 5th :)

Just got back from Dr. Visit , this one was "interesting " because my workers comp caseworker met me there and went in with me and wifey, really nice lady who is supposed to be on my side and help guide me back , Doc said 6 more weeks of "no weight" then I start so.e therapy , comp lady asks Dr. If I could be released to some kind of "light duty" , Dr frowned faced her and said "3 to 4 months " before that can even be considered... Dr is kind of a downer really, says I will always hurt and always have issues , how da fuk she know that ? Her bedside manner is poo ?...

FINALLY!!! Got me peg leg on (mounted a phone/led lamp holder purse thingy on it )and cleaning up the vehicles ...
Glad to hear you are out and moving around. Should make PT much easier than if you were just sitting around all the time. I know I'd be going stir crazy and finding ways to get out and about if I were in the same situation.

Take it easy....in second pic it looks like you already had an "excitement piddle" in anticipation of being near your Ranger.
Your health comes first....a layer of dirt on your Ranger will just keep it from getting dirtier...
No over-doing it !!!!

My cousin who works at the same employer as me on the loading dock and shuttling trucks around had a comp case with his shoulder rotator cuff work related, he went to see Dr. like you did the insurance comp lady asked the Dr if he could just use a bag of frozen peas or similar ice pack wrapped to his shoulder to alleviate the pain & inflammation an be released for light duty
As my cousin tells it he (the DR.) just looked at her and said “who’s the Dr. here me or you?”
He got his orthoscopic surgery and recovered ok.

Got underneath and nooks and crannies (even though it hasn't been out in any snow or salt) also got to DRIVE IT !!! FINALLY ! Only a few feet out of garage and turn around , still, behind the wheel ...
