I shattered my tibia in a motorcycle accident in 2005. Pain was immense. The surgeon said it was so bad they had to remove some bone fragments that could not be reattached to anything. Two big plates and multiple screws to put it back together. They had to open up both sides of my leg to access all the damage. To this day I can still run and the doctors are amazed.
Hang in there, do what they tell ya, do all od the rehab they want you to, and don't get addicted to the good stuff, You'll be fine.

The last page of my discharge paper looked like a receipt from HomeDepots hardware asle , screws brackets and braces galore...

I curious to see that also , no prices on my sheet , just the inventory they used...
You don't want to know what they are billing your insurance company! The crazy part is what they actually take from the insurance. Insurance billing is such a game

That has me worried since this is a workers comp case , they will probably bill me for the difference between a HomeDepot screw and one from the medical supply store...

My surgeon told me they used good ole American steel. If so, it had to be superior grade stainless I suppose.
BTW, with all the metal in my leg, I have never set off any security metal detectors for some reason.

Not to bad on the parts , but damn , that labor ?...
You can probably inflate those prices by at least a factor of 10. Looking at your parts list they are all 38-46mm long.

"PUTTY BONE MONTAGE..." must be like red Loctite?
