I still remember the jingle, and it will be an ear worm ("continuous replay" in my head) the rest of the day. That one, and, for those that grew up in the greater Twin Cities region, Lunch with Casey Jones' birthday song. One one the oldest agriculture and construction toymakers was Buddy L and later Ertl also were popular

Real lifelike AND lasting lifelong I can confirm. Still have it on the attic. More than 45 years old and ridden as hard as my cars ? I remember that I used it instead such an plastic bobbycar. Even the plastic parts are still completely intact and preserved…
good old days, when petrol was still leaded and phones still had rotary dials.

We're still a good month from planting tomatoes. We started a garden last year at my bro inlaw's as we live in a townhome- he's got acreage we've got "inch-erage." Started with 30'x30', but we plan to expand it to ~35x30. The snow is finally off, but the ground is too wet to till, and we'll need to buy more fencing.

It has finally warmed up enough to move the plants outside here.

I have twice tried to sprout strawberry seeds…no luck. Strawberries grow great around here, so not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I just bought strawberry starts and let the runners spread. Would cut those and replant until I had enough. Haven't done strawberries for many years.

We are about a month away from last freeze but I will plant some cool weather crops soon.
