I see this issue quite a bit, make sure the rear caliper slides are lubed and able to slide easily

Absolutely right. Some brake pad sets even come with new ones, which is a nice bonus but almost pointless without some brake grease.

The verdict is in. Both front and rear rotors as well as brake pads need replaced. The chemicals used on the roads in Ohio rusted the caliper slides and rotors destroying rotor and pads. The caliper slides will be bead blasted. Cost well, it will gag a horse.

ah jeez, I have a similar problem but was hoping replacing the DPFE would help. I’ll need to have my 60k appointment in a month or two. If the brakes or rotors needs replaced I’ll just do them myself I think

I have just over 17,000 miles, yes you read that right just over 17,000 miles on my truck.
