“Better” brake fluid is just higher boiling temp. No need for that here. Braided brake lines are going to help unless you change all of them, not just caliper line. Even then, only so much with abs.
Agree.
Better oil suggestion was if one is going to bleed, might as well flush. Might as well use higher performance oil. Cost is low.

As others have said, this is a known problem. Interestingly, it was one of the subjects on the Ford customer survey I was emailed, making me believe they know they have a problem. I did not treat them kindly of this subject.

After 10,000 miles the brake pedal on my 2019 Ranger has firmed up some. The brakes still don't have a great feel, though they do stop the truck.

Now that my truck is a year old it seems that the pedal is firmer . I do not know why !
