A little late to the party but since someone else showed there's here's mine. My parents could not afford Lionel but I still have my Marx from the Fifty's. Under the tree for the holidays along with some of the vintage toys & on display the rest of the year. My hobby is model railroading just a smaller scale. :like:

We don't get many people in our neighborhood that decorate their outsides. Some neighborhoods do but ours is pretty lame until these new owners arrived. I think they're the Sid @Msfitoy of Christmas decorating. ?

Here's our tree. Just put it up tonight. As a kid, our tree always went up the weekend closest to the 15th. Ours is artificial from Balsam Hill, but I could never bring myself to do it any earlier.

And to add some real Canadian flavor, my train is one of those old Presidents Choice sets. But just the train, tender, and two immediate cars. The last three are Con-Cor, to complete the passenger train look. It's the famous Canadian National Railways U-1-f class locomotive 6060; a 4-8-2 Mountain type. It's now known as the Spirit of Alberta. I also added a Train-Tech SFX10 Steam Locomotive Sound module. A easy way to add sound to a train, that doesn't have it, and only comes out once a year.

Finally able to enjoy fireplace. Usually not cold enough several days in a row to bother. :) Had to remove everything from mantle. This rascal gets H

Don’t know what the green floaty phantom thing is. It’s in all my fireplace pics.:)?

This is my favorite thing besides the beach. I love having a fire in the fireplace.?

Merry Christmas Eve!

I love sitting around by the fire and just watching the flames dance around. We have an outdoor (gas) fire pit which we use a lot on the cooler spring/fall nights. The indoor one is nice just to take the chill out of the air and while I miss my real log fireplace this one's a lot less messy.

I'd keep an eye on that green floaty phantom thing. ?

Merry Christmas Eve!!?

Being allergic to real trees I've had an artificial tree most of my life. It's a lot less messy and super easy to put up, ours has the lights pre-strung too.

One thing I'll never figure out is how to get the darn thing back into the box. It never seems to fit right or close so now we take the ornaments off and leave it together in the corner of the spare bed room. lol It's like Chinese food. You have all these leftovers and they somehow stuff it in a small carton but if you try and do it it'll never fit. ?
Well ours is shrink wrapped and put away until next year.

Our tree still up for at leasr another week or so. Only went up alittle over a week before Christmas. Jad to match Tracy's firplace pictures. Right now sitting in front of it watching the Packers thump the Vikings. The snow we had for Christmas is almost gone except where it drifted in my back yard.

Happy and blessed New Year to all!
