Got my Yokohama's rotated and balanced this morning at our local Discount Tire.....freebie as I purchased them there.
Usually do the rotation myself, but I figured what the heck, getting to old to man-handle heavy tires, and they re-balanced them.
In and out in 20 minutes, great service.....

You have a good one up there. At the local store you will wait an hour for any operation they do. Got so bad Big O is my tire store. Even canceled the discount tire cc. Get treated like a person at big o, not just a number.

Local store here, in Waynesboro, Va. Store has constant customers during the day, but not to where you have a long wait.
Did an online appointment yesterday to schedule 9:15 am today. Got there 20 minutes early and got right in. 2 associates got right on it, and I was out in about 20 minutes.
Other large tire store in area, Evers, used to be/do similar, but they were bought out by a corp, and got too big for their britches.
Discount Tire for me from now on.

They do that even if you don't buy tires from them. At least they do in the Chicago area. It's a great way to form a relationship.

They do that as well at the stores i've been to in Washington and New Mexico. Always fantastic service. Yeah they're not always the quickest if you just drop in so I usually just make an appointment and i'm out pretty quickly.

My favorite interaction with them was back in my Focus ST days. Went to get my tires balanced before a trip, turns out the fronts were coming apart. Discount (Tacoma, WA on N. Pearl) gave me a loaner set of tires for the weekend while we waited for my new ones to arrive. They made a customer for life right there.

Got new tires on the wife's Escape at Discount Tire Grand Island. Great service! Will get tires from them when the time comes!

Same goes for our Discount Store in Grandville,Mi. They worked with me to get my Tremor tire vibration sorted out and convince Ford to give me a new tire. Since then they’ve been rotating and checking RoadForce balance for free on the Tremor. Just brought our 2022 Escape PHEV with around 6k in for rotation and balance check and no charge for that also. I also purchased a mini spare tire kit for the Escape ( factory delete disease) from Levittown Ford and Discount mounted the tire on rim no charge also. Been using them since I worked there in high school back in the 70’s.

Good to know, although I got my Cooper Discoverers at the Quick Lane at Hudson Ford Hudson, WI. Did a Mount/Balance/4 wheel Alignment/Recycle and I had trillions of Ford Pass points; enough to apply $251.92 to the bill. There is a Discount tire in Hudson, and I may take the Mariner there next time, as HF has been bought out by an auto group. So far, so good but I'm staying wary. One of the last Ford stores I sold at completely imploded after a buyout.

We do free tire rotations AND free flat repairs! You are right! It's a great way to meet new people in the local marketplace!
