Hey all!

Long time Ecoboost fan, and Ford owner… just made the jump to my first truck! We had a 2017 Edge Sport loaded and loved it… it was tuned (LMS), and had a good bit of little tweaks to it. But I found this truck near-by with only 18K miles on it. After doing some checking and reading what I could and looking the truck over as much as I could… I can’t find anything off about it. 2 owners, a small carfax damage call out … but overall… legit. And CPO so, some solid protection if it is off in the next year. (And close to 3 years on the 7/100).

I got them to give me a good deal on the Edge, and knock a bit off the truck, in the end I got this Lariat for less than many similar higher mileage XLTs!

Picked it up last night, and besides for some normal dealer snafus (Somehow they swapped the good Tonneau cover in the pics with a nasty one, I called it out and they gave me $700 off the truck, so that’s OK, already ordered a better one), Missing front floor mats, an missing a key (all of which they are replacing and are ordered)

Drives good, shifts good, no odd noises from the AC box/blend door, etc…

So here I am! Likely going to throw a LMS tune on it at some point since I have the tuner, and likely some 5100’s on all 4 corners to tighten stuff up a bit.

Nice to be part of the ranger community! No good outside or action photos... so here ya go in my driveway :)

Welcome to the forum. If you are using iPhone you can change the size of the photo by clicking options (bottom left) and changing it from full-size to large. Should upload after that.

Congrats , great find! Definitely replace the shocks, the stock fx4 dampeners are garbage. I have Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 for 34k miles and very satisfied. Bilstin, Fox, Icon or probably any other shock will be a huge improvement.
Oh because you have a 2019 Lariat others here will covet the extra 20 things on your truck that Ford deleted?

Welcome to the forum, Buddy! Your truck looks like the one we almost bought back in the day! The wife wanted Saber, and I wanted black, but we compromised on blue, which we both love now! Happy trails!

Just maybe... those floor mats might be behind the back seat! Check there. When I bought my truck new, day of picking it up I asked my salesman why there were no carpeted floor mats. He looked over the paperwork, said he didn't know. A year later of so, I was checking out how the back seat goes down, and low and behold there were the floor mats, still in the protective plastic.

Long time member who used to be a moderator here that had a nice Lariat Sport like yours.
It was totaled, steipped of all the important stuff, and sold at auction. Supposedly. ?

Your truck is beautiful and I'm sure you're gonna enjoy the heck out of it!

I knew the passenger seat lost some features after 2019, was there more stripped out in the following years??

Just ordered the Auto mirror fold box from Trac, and the RCI Catalytic converter armor, and I have the 5100's in my cart, but going to get some miles on the current suspension first. Also ordering the $150 conversion for my LMS tuner to get it set on the ranger, but not going to actually put the tune on it just yet.

I did throw Blizzak DM-V2's on the factory rims yesterday as my other property we just got is in the middle of the rockies (Salida, CO) and snow happens for a good bit still up there :)

Going to source a used set of OEM 17's or another set of 18's and throw KO2s on them or something in the spring/summer.

So yeah... the pocket book is being drained :)
