Nice I like the fox shocks personally and will be moving up to the 2.5 performance elites when the time comes…
Just a heads up the Fox shocks do have service intervals per their website

As for the bit of rub, some have mitigated that issue with the high clearance intrusion beam/crash bars (it appears yours are still the stock ones.) and/or 1” level kit spacer (if I’m remembering correctly, but I may have to check my notebook.? there’s a lot of super smart guys on here so i actually take notes on some things)…if you have the fox adjustable clovers in the front they may just need to be adjusted to provide the 1” of lift… actually probably should’ve asked if your ranger is lifted at all first ?.. judging by the pictures it appears to have stock height/stock rake…. Did i mention you have a nice looking tire/wheel package too. (KO3’s? size?)
Hey thanks for the heads up here man, very helpful, I've typically just run Bilsteins on my old trucks, so I didn't actually know that about Fox, I'll be sure to put this in my log book and have them checked out when I have my first service. I've always had great luck with BFG's and was very happy to see those on this truck, they are 275/70 R17, I believe this does have a small lift so perhaps an adjustment might take care of the rub, so far its been pretty much fine, only when you really have the wheels full crank in reverse, which I try to avoid doing anyway, but worth check that out. I really do like how this thing rides once you get on the rough roads, feels really good.

I also have a '19 Lariat 4x4. I am at 77k miles on mine. There are really 2 potential issues to look out for. One is, and my truck is getting this done now, the transmissions on these have potentially 2 fail points, either the main control board or the cdf drum. Mine is the control board, which is on back order of course. My dealer has been great to work with and has given me a loaner Edge to drive while waiting for the part. My dealer service folks tell me that on the Ranger they are not seeing the cdf drum failure, generally that is on the F150's in their experience. The other fail point is the heater box in the cab. If you hear clicking when adjusting the temperature or if you have issues with maybe one side of the system not adjusting, then you have this failure. I have not had this happen to mine. If you purchased an extended warranty you are good to go. Honestly my '19, other thqn this transmission control board, has been very solid. I have no regrets purchasing the truck. Maintenance is the key of course, and I maintain all of my vehicles much more frequently than the manual recommends. If the transmission issue is occurring you will know it. It usually shows up in the 3-4-5 upshift and 5-4-3 downshift, especially when cold, but not exclusively. Seriously, enjoy your Ranger! As you probably know, the new Tacoma's are grenading their transmissions, often with no warning according to the forums.

I have been a long time Toyota truck driver, typically buying older models and doing a lot of my own wrenching, but after my last long road trip, and my 08 tacoma really having a ton of repairs in need, I took the plunge and picked up this used 2019 Lariat last week, really a fun truck! As I said, not as familiar with newer vehicles or Fords for that matter, so any suggestions or things to look out for, please let me know. I get out an camp and explore a lot with my dog, so I really hope this can be a good adventure vehicle I can have for a long time.

Welcome and nice looking Ranger! You'll find a lot of helpful info here and many who are more than willing to help you spend your money. Before long you'll be buying things you didn't even know you needed. ?

Oh, listen to this man right here. He's very wise and was brought up well!?

Tailgate strut assist

Is the first thing you want to be a true member here. Everything else is secondary.

Nice truck, and welcome.

I have had my '19 XLT for about 3 months now and love it, I think you will too. They are great trucks, and ride very comfortably down road paved or not. So far my only issue is that I found the rear defrost does not work, but it's a used vehicle and if that's it's only problem it's nothing. You have a nice truck I hope you love it as much as I do mine.
from others reported here, it probably came lose from the glass connection, should be an easy fix :)

I think you are going to love it, its a really fun truck to drive and build on, and used as a work truck... it really works.
I have had many trucks over the years bigger and smaller (a few toyota) Loving this one even more every day.
So, sit back with a cup of coffee with us and pull a home loan your gonna need the extra cash hanging around us... bigger tires, lift kit, after market Tunes and engine bolt ons, keep good Gas and Oil in it!
Enjoy!

I had the automatic transmission fluid flushed at 30K miles. Considering the transmission's reputation I think it's an appropriate service interval.

Welcome to the group. I bought my 2019 XL new. Yes, get a tailgate damper. I did a memory chip for the start/stop. Running boards, Catch can, Tailgate letters. Mud flaps, Chrome grill insert and letters, bed liner (drop in) And the bed box from my 1997 Ranger XLT. Next will be a Fitz stick trans dipstick.

Welcome. Nice wheels. I did the same thing as you, bought a low mileage lease return and saved $13K. Ive done the auto start/stop eliminator, wireless charger, wireless AA, some bed hooks and a tool box. My HVAC clicks so I'll get that into the dealer soon. I did get a 4 year ESP plan from Granger that helps. I'm going to need the DPFE soon but I have two in stock. The trans shifts rough every now and then, and there is a lot of drivetrain slop. I just hate working with dealers and their BS. In due time.
