From JLT:

We found out after doing this install that the Lariat has an engine cover that the XL and XLT do not come with.

It’s a small plastic cover, but the oil separator mounts to one of it’s mounting locations.

Currently as this kit is it will not fit with the engine cover installed. We will try to get our hands on a Lariat here locally to come up with another solution.

Let me know if you would like to keep or cancel the order.

Can we see the inside of the can they went with? If it's just a cheap eBay baffled one, I'll pass, but if it's a nice one with baffles and a brass screen, I'm probably in.

As someone stated above, it will not but I believe there will be a workaround soon, as far as mine, not a big fan of these covers so off it goes.

I was talking to the folks at JLT and attaching two pics of the can and this is what they say about the can
"The can has a 2 stage filter, a stainless steel fine mesh screen with a honey comb style filter on top of that. The fine mesh turns the vapor into liquid form and the honeycomb allows it to condense into droplets. We played with some different baffles in initially R&D in 2015-2016 and didn’t see a measurable difference in collection rates so the container isn’t baffled for additional capacity."

This is exactly what I was looking for. Now I'd just thread the bottom and put in a drain fitting.

Will probably order one of these.
