Hello Folks,
Im about to pull the trigger on a Bed Mounted RTT for my 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat 4WD. Ive been reading bout concerns on the new 2024-25 Rangers being vulnerable to "above rail" mounting accessories above 88lbs due to a concern with the bed.

Does this apply to the 2020 Rangers? I've tried looking on various websites with out any conclusive findings. The website for after markets are pretty confusing and the youtube videos touching on this topic are too help ful either.

It's just for the '24 trucks built until sometime in September. Your 2020 doesn't need them.

This is just a 6g issue. When I had my canopy installed, the tech was concerned at first when they heard Ranger for that reason. Then i said it was a 5th gen and they weren't concerned anymore. You'll be fine

I'm watching this thread, let's us know how your install turned out. I got a 2020 XLT FX4 Crew Cab and thinking about install a RTT.
