Just wondering... It seems counter intuitive to have to look at the dash to see which selection I'm in. In my wife's Wrangler the selection is on the console AND on the dash. Is this the same for everyone, or is something in my console not plugged in?

I guess I'm used to shifting my gears manually. Why would you need it to light up? Doesn't the guage cluster show you what gear you are in?

It's weird, but my Wife's Edge Sport lights up on both the dash and the center console. IDK why it needs to, but it does. It has a similar dash cluster to what the Lariat has.

I don't need it to. Just when I go from the wife's Jeep to the Ranger I look for it. Thanks for all the replies, BTW.

The console PRNDS light was eliminated mid-year 2020. Search this site and you'll find a build date after which it was eliminated. If you have a 2019 you should have it.
