Some oils are better at X and some at Y... It doesn't mean you're using a "lesser oil".Ok this makes no sense. Why would one purposely choose an oil that was "lesser" than another? Oil is cheap, just put the best in that crankcase you can. Does anyone ever say "Well I'm gonna drive slow and easy for the next 5k miles so I'll just put some dollar store oil in this time."
It makes perfect sense. You just have to stop thinking there is a "best oil". There is a best oil for your usage.
Do you think a Hoosier R7 should be run in the snow? It is the best tire... At something. Not snow or cold though.
