Interior Moisture

Howdy ya'll,

This is an issue I've dealt with in the past, but seems to be a bit more extreme in my Ranger for whatever reason (especially now that Winter has cometh).

The interior of the vehicle seems to be getting a lot of moisture, and condensation building up on the inside of the windows. Compounding the issue is, I'm ashamed to admit, my avid vaping ??? On one hand, been off the cigs and errythang else for years! Whoopwhoop! On the other, my insides are probably still suffering and, most importantly, my truck's are too.

Any tips ya'll could give me on not only how to dry things up inside, but to prevent that moisture from building up?

P.S. Don't hesitate to shame me for vaping, I could use the motivation ?

But I've never seen actual moisture buildup from vaping in a car.

Try rolling down your window when you partake.

I'm ashamed to admit just how often I'm hitting the dang vape lol!!! Rolling the window down would definitely help-- it's just a lil harder cruisin' down the highway early in the cold mornings ?

Use your remote start.

Truck will be warm when you get in. Window down, clouds rolling.

I'll throw two things out that have helped me.

A. Ween yourself down to a lower nicotine level as ASAP. I'm currently down to 3mg, debating going down to 1.5, but I'd have to cut it myself to get down there.

B. Treat vaping like a cigarette. Get a few puffs, then put it down for a bit, out of reach if you have to.

What you are looking for is large bags of desiccant. Try to find ones that are reusable. You can dry out or recharge them in a low temp oven. We use them in bomb coffins or missile containers that are stored in non climate controlled magazines. I usually put one under each front seat of our vehicles in the winter.
