Interesting Window sticker changes

From what it appears to me, ROVP orders have gotten no priority at all - either in scheduling or anything else. My understanding was that ROVP orders were supposed to be scheduled the week after they were approved. In some cases that appears to have happened, but it most cases, it seems like it was several weeks before they even got scheduled. Ford really botched the ROVP process for these trucks I think.

To make matters worse, dealerships in my area have a bunch of them on their lots. I even just saw one in the wild when I went out to dinner tonight. Not that I have to be one of the first people with a Ranger, but jeez, I feel like the forgotten stepchild.

You are not the only one! My truck has been stuck in production since 2/07!

Mine went into production on 2/06, I got tired of waiting and bought one off the lot. When I was visiting with my local dealer he mentioned there was a shortage of steering wheels. WTH?

My first estimated delivery date was 2/24.

My second estimated delivery date was 3/10.

My current estimated delivery date is 3/3.

Yes, it actually indicates my delivery date is/was 3/3.

Everyday another day gets added to the how many days until delivery section. The current count is 22. At 5pm PST, it will most likely change to 23 days.

I ordered a Lariat without Sport or chrome. Seems all the dealerships I contacted had those two exclusively. Searched NJ, Atlanta and out west. Ordered from Phoenix. I live in Louisville. Crazy, right? Luckily the sales guy set me up for courtesy delivery at a local Ford Truck dealership. $275 fee but picked up for invoice.

I don't know about you guys but taking delivery of a 19 in the Summer when the 20s are around the corner is not prudent especially without any discount, Deliveries in the Summer will nearly be a model-year-old!

I'd be surprised if any 20s hit much before January, given how much they're extending production on the 19s.

That's because Ford prioritized those two appearance packages at the factory; nearly every member here who ordered their Sport package got their Rangers before anyone who ordered without an appearance package. All the trucks I've seen on dealership lots have had the Sports package too.

There is a box on the page to enter your VIN and then click the button to display it. At least that is what comes up for me.

I am beginning to think that this preorder ROVP program is just a lot of BS. I really wish I hadn't preordered, I am sure I would have a truck by now.

May 5th is my delivery date, order in early December it will be 20 weeks if true

Yeah! Called my salesman & they tracked by truck. Said something about the steering wheels too! Should be delivered the 2nd week in April! Ordered 10/02!
