The plastic piece shown In the photos pulls off very easily for more underse

it's like the size of the top of an Iron Jack

it's that dog hair filled hole to the left of my keys. it keeps my jumper cables, hatchet, and e-tool cool/warm

Thanks for the pics!! And to everyone else, that wide piece will pull off very easily, leaving a very small opening that needs taped up which will also give you a lot more storage space.

Go to a hardware store and get some tin tape ... no worries about catching fire and sticks well, but not permenent, or aluminum tape.

Does your heater actually get that hot? Mine doesn't.
