LOL, I love your "OMG" reference, it did actually make me guffaw as I sit with Cheech in the backyard. I think those self-tapping screws are a great idea for a far more secure connection.

Livin' the dream, reading the Ranger 5G forum with Cheech in the backyard, on a nice New England summer day

C'mon Dave, get off your duff and cut the grass for the Boss! Then rake it up, a good excuse for a dump run! Save the planet...(couldn't resist ?)

I've had this cover for going on 3 years now. Just chiming in on the quality of it. It's been great. Had the velcro detached and reattached countless times from rollups, and still smooth.
The corners do get a spill in heavy rain so what I do is plastic bag items such as a bag of charcoal. When it's fully latched down, you'll know it from its loud click. I like to give it a blanket wave and pull when getting ready to latch it down.
One time I had a load move forward while it was in roll up and never knew it, but it pushed the head bar. Would not latch down until i figured it out. Doesn't matter how tight it is, it WILL become distorted in that kind of situation. Should give you years of enjoyment. Just remember to close the tailgate like stupid me didn't do once.

I have a MaxHaul Cargo Bag that I used before getting the tonneau. PTA to get gear in it but it’s water proof (ish). For items that I need to keep dry I will also use this.

Installing a truxedo lo pro. Do you think I should also seal up the holes pictured and where the bulkhead seal and bed meet maybe put another seal of some sort?

I just picked up a used Ford OEM tri fold tonneau and I believe due to being used there is no bulkhead seal provided and after I installed it I do have a fairly large gap at the front box rail.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what may be suitable to use as a replacement similar to what is shown in these images...looks about the right height.

I do have a spray in liner but sounds like some thorough cleaning with alcohol and an adhesive strip should hold.

I did - gator flush mount.
Now if I can get one log enough.
Could you possibly through a tape measure front to back on your cover while fastened down and give me a length? Mine is 59 1/4 on one side and 59 3/8 on the passenger side.
Thanks
