I am not the type to get out and take a pic of other peoples rides, I drove past it several times, it sat there all day, I never saw the owner.
Finally, one of the times my Ranger (who was also laughing) mumbled "get a pic and put it up on 5G" so I clicked off couple pics as I drove by.

id agree with that with a few exceptions. i have always loved old jeeps esp the military ones but the more mall jeepers and bubble gummers i see with jeeps the less i want another jeep in the future.

yep, the jeep kaiser version. but build by several different companies over the years.
I used to drive those, also the A2 version with the rag top and drop side bed rails along with troop seats. Damn thing would go anywhere there was room.

they sure would! its a shame i dont have a place to park one. they auction them off around texas pretty regular. most with low miles. it would make a sweet rig for off road camping etc. just so darn oversized.

Friend of mine has property off grid in the Sierra's, he bought one and I helped him turn it into a private fire fighting rig with 2X400 water pods and a high pressure pump and hose system, works well. He has a small lake to fill from.
I took a platoon of M35A2's to the Marble Cone Fire in Big Sur in 1977 from Ft Ord. We would just follow the Bulldozer up the mountain with a hand crew in the back on the troop seats, no canvas. The fire fighters thought WE were crazy! HAHA!

It was parked down the street from my house all day, I just kept laughing at it, the tag axle is a straight axle like a trailer axle, small little brakes.

It looks weird the way they did the rear fenders to match the rake not the bed rail, that rear axle must really screech the tires on a U turn, it did not look like it has a goose neck in the bed like it was done for function, so it must just be for show.

I suppose in some certain conditions it would help off road, maybe sand or something you want to roll over, climbing, or anything else I would think it would be completely useless.

My wife looked them up and they run for over 100K (disclaimer, that could be incorrect, I did not look it up myself)
<snip>
Don't be too hard on the guy. He wanted a 9 foot long bed, and HE GOT IT... But at a crazy price... LOL

OK, now you can resume the uproarious laughter. This is better than the swimming pool fender flares, at least.

It's funny the amount of Bro-Dozer'd up Heeps you see in AZ that never make the trail. Then when I'm out off road, I always manage to find a 1993 Honda Accord 14 miles into the back country on some trail I had to use 4L to get to.

This weekend we went to Crown King. We were about 3//4 of the way there at the switchbacks and my daughter and I were mentioning that we hadn't found the 1993 Honda Accord yet - sure as $#!+ one comes flying around and passes me going up the hill like it would have passed me on a free way.

How TF is it that stock Honda street cars from the Clinton Administration with 12" wheels are able to best Angry Eyes Punisher Stickered "Trail Rated" vehicles that carry extra fuel in swollen plastic jugs strapped to the sides of their rig.

It literally is the meme about the hiking guy that gets off the trail carrying a 72 hour assault pack and walking sticks only to be followed off of the same trail by a kid, missing a shoe and carrying a naked barbie doll.

It's amazing how off-road capable a vehicle can become once you stop caring about its long term viability...

When a Jeep grows up:
geez why do people do this to stuff that would have been great unmolested. at that cost i think i could get a home and a nice ride. but honestly the g wagons moved to my never gonna be seen in one list when that post malone clown shoe mentioned g wagon in one of the songs he performs. i know thats petty. but at least im honest. lol. sometimes the famous people that are linked to a car or truck make me not want one.

One on right is a M109, box version of M35, been converting to modern camper, rebuilding and modify to modern luxuries as AC, instant hot water shower, toilet etc.
