I’m a “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” kind of a guy but sometimes you don’t know something is broken until you fix it. I had a slight hesitation when accelerating from a dead stop and so I thought for $30 bucks I’d try changing (actually my son changed it)the dpfe sensor and it solved that problem and made it shift much smoother too. We’ll see if it helps mileage too.

Dealer put new transmission in it 1000 miles ago under warranty.

I replaced mine at 55k after reading these forums. Made a noticeable difference in smoothness and trans shifting.

60,000 miles replaced mine a couple weeks back, had a stall between 2nd and 3rd. I just purchased the sensor and cleaned and reused the hoses. Smooth as butter now!

I had the exact same experience and results as everyone else above. Ordered it from Rock Auto for under $30. Much cheaper than any transmission work. My truck is just under 60k as well. Hmmm
