I remember getting a JCWhitney catalog in the mail was costly. Flash forward to here with pictures and real world reviews ?....cha-ching!
With that said, this forum has been a huge help. Costly, but not so much. I'm in the middle bracket.

"Going north of 500"

I learned about my ignition bezel, seat covers, floor mats and Trek Step from this forum.

Everything else on the truck were options/accessories when I placed the order.

My truck is "complete."

Well, let me figure. I didn't even have a Ranger when I joined the forum. So I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $25,700 after discounts, and incentives for my 'lil blue truck. Then I had to buy that damn damper because of Dave, @AzScorpion. So, I'm into it about $25,750. So, there ya go. :)

... all the forums fault

More than my first car which was about $1100 and my second which was about $1800 but less than my third which was north of $2700...actually, I have probably already bought a second Ranger just in mods muhahahahahah  not really, but seems like it's going that way.

The opposite question is also valid.

How much grief, cost and heart burn has this forum prevented?

This forum helped me decide what truck to buy, what trim, how many doors and whether to get 4X2 or 4X4.

It taught me I needed to check my oil often and to smell it for fuel.

That I can not live without the damper.

That FORD will change things between years.

To count tiedown hooks.

To make sure there was a Lariat engine cover.

To fill my empty windshield washer tank

To check the tire pressure in my new ranger.

That the paint chips very easily.

That rangers are afraid of the dark and need a night light.

And most important, Trust Phil.

Thanks for the warning Bret. I will not let the wife drive my Ranger. She might want one too. :)
