How many actually use the running boards

or are they just for aesthetics... I m looking to get these when back in stock. 6.6" of protection. Currently, the wife's CRV door hits the stock running boards before the truck body by only 1/2" Would like to extend that to 2". I use the Running boards to enter and exit saving wear and tear dragging my ass across the bolster and seat sides. The wider the better.

I am looking for running board ATM and have been looking at the RB20's, but now I'm glad i saw these.

I want them for my wife who is only 5' and needs a little sumthin to help her get up in the truck + running boards will help deflect some parking lot door dings ( or at least I'm hoping they will ).

Yeah I was looking at the Go rhinos but they're too expensive. these are similar yet a lot less expensive and better than the OEM ones.

I'm 6'0" so don't need them, but I use them to avoid that crunched side of seat issues. My daughter is 9 years old and she loves using them, or just standing on them, so they were worth it for just that

Had a set on my old Tacoma. Rarely used them. Aesthetics, going without them on my Ranger.

I would use it more if the drivers side had a handle.

Not sure how they let that one slide...

I just use mine to protect the rockers from debris and to knock the snow off my boots.

Those are really nice they would look great with my chrome package. I might have to rethink the Tygers.

I use them for in...not always for out..Wife uses them in and out..

Don't use them at all really - to me they seem a little awkward to use for the height of the truck (maybe it's because they're the OEM steps?). The last vehicle I had with running boards was my Expedition and I used them all the time to get in and out. Now, my wife, on the other hand, uses them all the time to get in the Ranger.

I just installed the factory black ones on mine last week. Me and my wife are vertically challenged so we use them pretty much every time.
