How many people live in a house that has a milk chute? ?
When I started working for the post office, several older houses that had milk chutes used them for a mail box. They didn't mark them or put the house number on them. The regular just knew, the vacation replacement didn't! You would be surprised how many people tried to hide the mailbox from view.

I've never heard of that. We had Divco milk trucks here; they were about the size of a Transit Connect. stetson hats and either bow ties or neckties were common garb for the service industry, like gas stations, milk & bread drivers.
