Looks like a suction cup base of a female stress relief device or male depending on which way you roll. Is it bad that I immediately thought it looked like a dildo with a suction cup?????
Of course I did not notice it until it was pointed out by RANGER PRIDE.

I think it's a 3/4 frontal impact with on coming traffic or roll over...ripped off the roof...if a tractor trailer was involved the hood wouldn't have survived to any degree...

Hard to say on the roof, I was think'n red neck convertible there

Totally lose control device? as evidenced by the pics at Copart...probably a Ford warning label on the bottom that says not to use this device while operating vehicle...tish boom!

Its stuff like that that is a gut-check to be extra vigilant while driving. I'm 51 and at 17 I was broad sided by a guy that was sooo drunk the first thing he did after the impact was barf all over his shoes. Spun my car around ['87 olds cuttlas calais] and wrapped around a light pole, he was driving an old lead-sled full size wagon early 70's and witnesses claim he blew the red at 45+ MPH.
I'm not going into all the details, but I came close on that one..I pulled glass out of my scalp for years after that.
Driver was some outta state drifter handy-man type who disappeared before the first responders arrived, I passed out on the scene and woke up in the hospital.

Below is NOT the one I owned, but is identical. I was working full time and doing ok for a kid and bought it on my own. RIP less than 1500 miles..

There was a highway single vehicle roll over accident in Atlanta in late August, with a Ford Ranger, perhaps this is the vehicle.
