Any Ford dealer worth his salt, will tell you when the Factory rep will be by next. Just set up an appointment to meet him.

I've got a theory as to how that has happened...

Have you had it in for a service? I'm wondering if at some point your truck was put on a lift, and they missed with the pad. They raised the lift, realized the truck was going up wonky, and lowered it back down again. On the way down, the end of the lift was hooked on that part of the frame and when the wheels hit the ground, the lift continued down and tore that bit?

No way...

You ever use a lift? I've got a Rotary 2 post. What you are pondering just isn't logical.

Yes, I've used a lift. And now that I have thought about the geometry of a lift, I think your right.
