I just painted from muffler back a high temp matte black. Looks great, and I have plenty left for touch ups. 7000 miles later, no need, still looks great.

What type of paint did you use.... and did you huff any of it?

Painted mine the same way about a year and a half ago. Still looks good after 20k+ miles.

I used Krylon Fusion paint & primer all in one. Satin black. Wiped it off good with some acetone. I was going to use header paint but I had this on hand. Figured I would give it a try. Just like my wood hauling rack, I like to use up what I all ready have.? I forgot no huffing.
