Thanks for the welcome. It looks like modding and buying accessories for the Ranger is almost as bad as buying stuff or modding Jeeps (Just Empty Every Pocket) LOL! I probably won't get too crazy at first since I have to keep momma happy.

Yep, just like Jeeps and Harleys. A good window tint on a black truck always looks good and doesn't break the bank. I do understand the concept that "if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" (some how the bad grammar makes that saying funnier)

Believe me, I know. I actually traded my Harley Tri Glide in for the Ranger since I can no longer ride due to my health. And I have two Jeeps sitting in the garage, a 2016 Cherokee and a 1962 Willys M170 military ambulance.

Welcome, looks like you have already figured out the danger of this forum. In no time you will develop a list of stuff and mods as long as your arm. Some of which may definitely get you in the dog house with momma. ?

one I would definitely put high on the list is a good OBDII adapter and a Forscan license. Check out the Forscan section of the forum for suggestions on good ones and things you can tweak with it. I personally use a OBDLink MX bluetooth unit, as I also use it to display boost and some temps using an old cell phone.

I have looked at the OBDLink units but they are for Android/Windows only. They are also very popular with the Jeep crowd too. I would like to find a good one that works with Apple IOS.

Unfortunately Forscan only works with Windows. The Forscan lite for IOS won't let you change anything.
