Typically what they would do at the dealer is run a fine tip ballpoint along the crack. If there is a chip the pen hangs up. If not it’s a stress crack. Think it is a year on that for factory as mentioned.
Another thing you could try is vacuum repair. They use cyanoacrylate glue and vacuum to fill the crack. Sometimes it works and other times crack continues.
If you do get it replaced insist on factory glass, not aftermarket

so I always carry the no deductable glass replacement coverage as it's $2K to replace, also carry that on all my POV's, it's only a few bucks extra and well worth it.
