Head Unit Issue

I have a 2019 with Lariat trim and always listen to music via bluetooth from my phone. Starting about 4-6 weeks ago, the audio source would default to AM radio, rather than automatically connecting to bluetooth. Yesterday, upon start, the blue oval 'boot screen' was present, but the screen then went dark/unresponsive. Physical volume dial worked, but not the tune dial, so stuck on AM radio static. Today the screen is functioning again. I've done the factory reset but defaulting to AM radio still takes place. Feels like a software issue but unsure what additional steps I can take. Concerned the blank screen is just the beginning. Dealership is 45 minutes away, so not real easy to take it in. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Similar issues well documented here in the forum. Anyway, what version Sync3 are you on? It sounds like you may have 3.4 build 22251 which is well known for developing lots of issues over time.

You will need to update to build 23188 and see if it resolves your issues.

the other day I got in and it went to AM my heart sunk, then my son said the night before he had left it on AM by accident OMG dont do that to me!

You will need to update to build 23188 and see if it resolves your issues.
