Axle load sensor (100ton) retail price 200$.. Less than half on bulk and few ton sensor would be even cheaper. About 300$ cost increase if you include a hitch sensor. These things don't cost so much, it's just lack of will.
you forget "engineering" markup so $10,000US or 87 euros added to price of the truck

Must be another thing they eliminated from the 2021-2022 models.
It never has been 61 inches. The bottom of the bed is 61 inches, but with all the ribbing on the tailgate and headboard, the usable length of the bed is 58.5 inches with the tailgate closed. Pullkitchen had to redesign their kitchens for the Ranger. Mine was the first Ranger they built one for. I'm sure those Tacoma boys had a laugh at Ford's marketing lies.

Have you received your Pullkitchen? is it worth the price tag?

It really depends on how much you move when camping and how much camping you do. When I traveled out here to the Southwest, I took it out of my truck so I could tow my cargo trailer. It was close to the payload limit with it in and with the trailer. It's heavier than I expected, but it's so simple to pull over to the side of the road to cook, or travel all day and get into a campsite at night and cook. It's worth the price tag if you are thinking of making something similar, because the cost of the materials is most of the cost of the completed unit. After pricing out materials, I came close to what they were asking for them. They certainly aren't getting wealthy at this. I don't think I could have done a better job building something comparable and I would have months sunk into it and a lot more wasted material. So yes, it's worth the cost of you plan on living out of your truck for an extended time.

its the market...
have you not paid attention to the babies who cry about the amount they paid for their truck already? they want it all for free, and add ons like that aren't going to be free.

I understand the value of these systems on vehicles, but the people who drive them , thats the questionable part.
It may be that people who drive them are ignorant and don't even know what they are missing. As nobody has provided them with the information that such systems even exists.

It's like Internet, people were saying that it was waste of time and not usable for anything. Then we told that there's ton of porn in it and everyone wanted one.

I'm old school I guess, if I still got a few inches before I hit the bump stops, I'm good. If I'm touching the bump stops with the axle tube, then my bad. If I break something before I'm on the bump stops, then Ford's bad.?

I have had pickups continuously since 1976 and have been known on occasion to load them up to the bump stops. Not something I would recommend for a cross country trip but no ill effects for a couple mile jaunt home from the home & garden store.

One could argue I guess with the old line that necessity is the mother or all invention, and that some or most people enjoy having plenty of convenience features, and that goes for things beyond vehicles. Things that once were made to fill a niche market become standard equipment eventually cuz why not it’s easier and becomes the new standard of living.

Agreed. Despite the capability of the truck, I prefer to have bulk loose material (dirt, rock, mulch, etc.) delivered if I can get it dumped reasonably close to my project. It’s much easier shovel off the ground than out of the bed of my truck.
I use this for that. Its kind of a egg laying wool milk pig:)
