Has Anyone Upgraded Their Headlights ?

Once I'm done upgrading my Fog Lights I'm afraid my weak-ass factory headlights are going to stand out like a turd in a punch bowl. I hate that orange glow they put off. I need a color temperature that more closely matches my off road lights.

Has anyone done the headlight upgrade ?
And have you had any regrets ?
And what brand/model ?

I had the AlphaRex Luxx in my 2019 for a period of time. In general they were ok, but not the best exactly. It got to a point that I went back to OEM. For me it was thanks to the inclement weather I have to deal with including Heavy Snow and Heavy Fog. Because of that and the color of the lights I was unable to see the road. If that is something you have to deal with then I would leave the lights alone.

I live as far south as you can get in Texas. Heat is our primary issue. Very little rain. I've been here 17 years and it snowed once a few years back but it was all melted away by 10am.

Fog 'can' happen here. But rarely. If it does,,, I'm prepared.

How was the brightness compared to OEM ? Was it more of a white color temp ?

I'm tempted to believe that any 1 of those 4 headlights would be an upgrade.

I'm starting to catch a serious vibe off the GTRs...

AND,,, the GTRs have the only Lifetime Warranty if I buy them from AmericanTrucks. They're actually a Morimoto product. And, they're @ $90 cheaper direct from Morimoto. BUT,,, they only have a 2 year warranty if you buy direct. How does that make sense ?

I just switched to Auxito bulbs for the headlights and the Lasfit white/amber for the fog lights. Beam pattern on both is great.

I have the Anzo lights.

They were on a black Friday sale for like $400 so I grabbed them.

In a nutshell, the low beams are great and a huge improvement over the factory halogens.

The high beams, not so much. I don't know if they are any better but at least they're not worse ?

Would I buy them again at $400? Yep.

Would I buy them again at $700? Nope.

I'd look at those GTR lights with the lifetime warranty for just a bit more.

It's an odd feeling. Reminds me of what it felt like to score a touchdown or win a big race. I think it's called "the thrill of victory"...

I've been passively shopping for better headlights for a day now. I found a set that interested me. Price wasn't too bad. Lifetime warranty. But a huge discrepancy between the AmericanTrucks description of the lights vs. the Morimoto description.

The Morimoto site only claimed a 2 year warranty BUT,,, they're $90 cheaper.

The AmericanTrucks site was more expensive BUT,,, they offered a lifetime warranty.

I contacted AmericanTrucks for clarification.

They offered to lower the price $90 and still give the Lifetime Warranty.

SOLD !!!

Their YouTube video was very persuasive... at 1st.

Then they showed the entire installation process in detail and I almost puked.

This one is going to the installer.

Keep in mind,,, find a better price and AmericanTrucks will match it. And, you still get ATs lifetime warranty.

No regrets. It gives the front of my Ranger a sleeker look.

I think the ones I have was the 1st to be available for the Ranger. Now you have many options.
