I've always dealt with air bags on previous trucks that I towed with, and on motor homes.
This seems like a great alternative, especially on a pick up like the Ranger.
From their description it almost acts like a sway bar in addition to load carrying ability.
Price isn't too much more than an air bag set up.
I was possibly planning on an air bag set up on my Ranger for an upcoming travel trailer purchase, but I'm going to take a hard look at this system instead.
Thanks for posting about it.

Seems janky to me. Lots of metal on metal contact and high pressure on the leafs. Also, I'm not sure what these guys think an "active" system is but that is not it.

I would think that it is an active suspension add on as it automatically compensates for different loads and driving conditions as opposed to an air bag set up that you have to manually increase or decrease air pressure for different conditions.
As for metal on metal...if your towing using a weight distributing hitch set up....the entire hitch is all metal to metal, and they last for dozens of years and hundreds of thousands of miles.

If they used rheological magnetic fluid I suppose that might be 'active' - and I don't understand how this should prevent squat under load unless it's adding physical support which in my mind is fooling with suspension geometry and physics in a potentially unknown way.

I do like the concept IF it adds some stability under load - unlike the Hellwig rear sway which stiffens the rear regardless. That this solution works independent of each wheel is attractive. The core benefit would be that an unladen truck wouldn't risk unsafe handling in 'emergencies' like I believe a rear sway bar might and this setup might even add safety.

It's not claimed on their site (I suppose because that's not the primary reason to buy) but I wonder if this could improve slalom performance in an unladen truck. The added mechanical complexity is the turnoff.

This video is useful from the impressions of someone who tows:

Just saw an ad for this, seems like a nice alternative to airbags? Anyone have any experience with it?

Had a set on my Titan in 2009. Rode awesome with a trailer or something heavy in the bed. Other than that they made it ride
Ike a rail car on tracks. Did help with the axle wrap I was having tho.
