is anyone else noticing a split inside the first tread around the entire circumference of all four tires? I've kept them inflated to 31 PSI. what the heck? I've only got 46,000 mile on it. none of it off road. Guess i wont be replacing them with what the factory put on. Any suggestion. I don't do any off road driving and we only get a small amount of snow in the winter

You got more mileage out of those hankooks than I did. At 25k miles they were pretty worn down. Replaced them with KO2s and have been very happy with the tire for the price point. You mentioned you don’t ever off road so you’ll likely want something with a less aggressive tread, I’ve lost about 1-1/2 mpg with the KO2s on pavement at 39 PSI.
For what it’s worth my truck spends 95% of the time on pavement and for how good the KO2s are in the dirt they have good road manners.

I'm on about 56K (rotated regularly) with mine and have plenty of tread left. The Hankooks don't seem to be very popular on here, but they've been perfectly fine for me.

I'll reassess them again before next winter, but I'd be shocked if I don't get 70K out of them.

Mine has been driven on OBX beaches 6 times, but nothing "off road" to wear the tires down at all. If I'm not at the beach, it's on paved roads or parked at a softball tournament somewhere between Jersey and VA.

The Hankooks were the best of all the OEM tires on recent vehicles in my house (last 20 years or so). That said, they were way too squishy for me. I also disliked the white lettering. I thought they drove fine though, decent traction on road and off-road.

If I recall correctly, Hankook had some issue with dry rot and cracking on some lots.

I have 2022 xlt super crew 4x4. I had stock Bridgestone dueler AT m+s 255/65R17. I started towing a 4000lb travel trailer and they felt like marshmallows. I put on falken wildpeak AT 4w 265/65 R17 and they ride and handle better even without the trailer, not noisy at all either. Quite happy with them. I live in lower mainland BC so lot of rain and not too much snow (usually)

Mine were worn out at 18K miles but I run a twisty mountain road a lot. Never had that issue. I went to a category I never heard of before, On Road All Terrain and got Continental TerrainContact A/T. Lok like they belong on a 4x4 and ride smooth and quiet. 60K warranty.

The Continentals are a great option for mostly on road. They have great wet performance.

I picked up a set of Bridgestone take-offs and only got about 25,000 miles out of them. They were noisy and din't ride as well as the Hankooks. The Hankooks are now back on my 2019 and they're much better than the Bridgestones, but I doubt I'll replace with Hankooks.

I had a set on my '19 Ranger and liked the feel mostly, but had major troubles with balancing.

not the outside treads, the in between the inside treads that wrap around the circumference of the tire not the width, the length
